What you will find

The crashed Alterra ship on the far eastern edge of the map, bow facing north and about 1,280 m long; marker uses the radiation zone's point of origin (1038, -3.4, -163.1), whose radius grows from 675 m to 950 m after the drive core explodes. A Radiation Suit is needed until the drive core is repaired, and nine Reaper Leviathans patrol the crash site.

Crash Zone

The easternmost and largest biome, where the Aurora crashed; murky brown water, debris, trenches behind the ship and mesas in the south. Its nine Reaper Leviathans and the Aurora's radiation make it one of the most dangerous areas early on.
