These terms apply to everyone who uses subnauticainteractivemap.com (the "site"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. They are written to be clear about what you can expect from a free fan project and what we expect from you.
1. An unofficial fan site
The site is an independent guide to the video game Subnautica. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Unknown Worlds Entertainment, Krafton or Fandom. Subnautica, its logo, names and artwork are trademarks and copyright of Unknown Worlds Entertainment and are used here only to describe the game.
2. Using the site
You may use the map, guides and data for personal, non-commercial play, streaming and video creation. You agree not to:
- overload the site, for example with automated requests far beyond normal browsing, or try to break its security;
- copy the site as a whole and present it as your own, or frame it inside another site in a way that hides its address or ads;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
Search engines, AI assistants and other crawlers may index and quote the site in line with our robots.txt, provided they link back to the page they use.
3. Content and reuse
Different parts of the site come under different terms:

4. Accuracy
We check every marker against the Subnautica Wiki and say in each description when a position is approximate. Even so, game updates, random spawns and volunteer edits mean the site can be wrong or out of date. The site is provided "as is" for entertainment, without any guarantee that it is complete, accurate or always available. Please report mistakes through the Contact Us page.
5. Your own markers and progress
Found markers, category choices and markers you add are stored only in your browser. You are responsible for what you name your markers. We cannot see, back up or recover this data, and clearing your browser data removes it.
6. Advertising and external links
The site shows ads provided by Google AdSense and may link to other websites such as the Subnautica Wiki. We are not responsible for the content, products or privacy practices of advertisers or linked sites. How ads use cookies is explained in our Privacy Policy.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, including lost game progress, decisions made in game based on the map, or the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes and availability
We may change, add or remove features and content, or update these terms. Significant changes will be shown by a new date at the top of this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Law and disputes
Before taking any formal step, please contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue informally. If you use the site as a consumer, you keep any protections that the law of your country gives you.
