What you will find
The Precursor gun on Mountain Island that shot down the Degasi, Aurora and Sunbeam. The upper entrance needs a Purple Tablet; it holds Ion Cubes and data terminals and can only be disabled after curing Kharaa. Warpers patrol the surrounding water.
Mountain Island
Fog-shrouded island in the south-west corner of the Mountains, home of the Quarantine Enforcement Platform and the Principal Arch cache. The Sunbeam tries to land here.
